Don’t Keep Using ‘very’! There are Better Words!

Well, the picture says most of it! But here’s why you should use the words given in the list.

Sometimes, in creative writing pieces ‘very’ becomes too redundant like- I was feeling very sad, very happy, very tired, very hungry, and the list goes on. Using better vocabulary when you write and speak, ofcourse, makes it all the more interesting and understandable. It makes you a better writer.

So avoid using ‘very’ and use these words instead.

But what if you want to use ‘very very’? Then please use use ‘extremely’.

Example- I was feeling very very cold yesterday.

Instead use- I was feeling extremely cold yesterday.
