Sentence– During the holidays, I usually give in to gluttony and gain at least ten pounds.

    This was a new word to me .My sentence On Saturday I went to a restaurant to have dinner and when I saw the tasty food ,I gave into gluttony.
    Mam after hearing this word I thought about the word gluton .Is it related?

    1. Avni, if someone eats too much and is greedy, you can call them a ‘glutton’. But it’s with a double ‘t’.

    My sentence – The poor man indulged all the food at the great fall feast with gluttony as he had not eaten food for several days.
    Ma’am I have never indulged in gluttony
    This reminds me of the word overeating

    This word is new to me and I will try to use it from now onwards. When it comes to pizzas and burgers , I usually give into gluttony.

    This is a new word to me, I will surely try to use it in my daily routine. This reminded me of a pun :- My cousin brother’s 6 packs are very precious to him. That’s why he protects it with a layer of fat.
